In Rome the artist sketched the marble sculpture named the “Dying Gaul”. The image stayed present until 2 years later he created the “Modern Galacian”. It represents one of those desperate moments in life when we feel defeated, deeply wounded and must choose to remain down or heal ourselves and rise to do battle once again. |
